This interactive workshop is designed to equip VET practitioners with the knowledge and practical strategies needed to create trauma-informed learning environments. 

Understanding the impact of trauma on learning is essential for supporting students who may have experienced adverse life events, and this session will provide an overview of trauma-informed approaches that can be integrated into vocational education settings within the framework of the Standards for RTOs. 

Practical strengths-based strategies to learning, assessment, and creating classroom environments where all learners feel safe and supported will be shared. 

Outcomes: By the end of the webinar, participants will:

• Understand the principles of trauma-informed teaching and how they apply to VET settings
• Be equipped with practical tools to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
