Build all-round capability for technology and foundation skills

Digital literacy is the new literacy, but not all learners start from the same place.

This session explores how to bridge digital divides by integrating technology skill-building into LLN delivery. It will demonstrate how to scaffold learning tasks that build confidence with devices, platforms, and online communication while reinforcing foundation skills.

Participants will leave equipped with microlearning, peer mentoring, and contextualised digital tasks that empower adults to thrive in an increasingly connected world.

Learning outcomes:

  • Integrate digital literacy skill-building into LLN activities
  • Design scaffolded learning tasks that bridge digital divides
  • Apply peer learning and microlearning techniques for technology confidence
