Tech-savvy, globally connected, socially conscious, optimistic, entrepreneurial. Gen Z. Your students?

Gen Z students have grown up in a world where they are surrounded by digital technology and where everything is ‘on demand’. They are comfortable with the internet and social media and are highly connected to what is going on in the world, and with each other.

They also come from a schooling system which encouraged participatory and creative thinking, and where they were often using technology to produce their own multimedia content.

This means that Gen Z learners need to be engaged differently, using interactive learning experiences which puts them at the centre of their learning.  And the great thing about this is that when applied, this type of learning benefits all learners!

Join this webinar to learn about how to incorporate training activities which highlight and focus on the ways Gen Z learners need to be engaged. Case studies of how others are incorporating effective Gen Z practices into their training programs will also be shared.

This session covers why Gen Z learners are different from other generations and what you can do to maximise outcomes for and from this cohort.

Registrants will receive a complimentary copy of the Engaging Gen Z Checklist’.

Meet Generation Z

"...perhaps the biggest distinction for Gen Zers is that technology is such a central part of their upbringing. Baby Boomers grew up as television was expanding. Generation X grew up as the computer revolution was unfolding, and Millennials came of age during the expansion of the internet.

“What’s unique for Generation Z is that all of the above has been part of their lives from the start,” Dimock says. “The iPhone launched in 2007, when the oldest Gen Zers were 10. By the time they were in their teens, the primary means by which young Americans connected with the web was through mobile devices, Wi-Fi, and high-bandwidth cellular service. As Millennials came of age, they adapted to social media, constant connectivity and on-demand entertainment and communication. But for those born after 1996, these are all largely assumed.”
