Sharing the underpinning knowledge requirements with classes can involve a lot of questions - including some that ask “why do I need to know this??”
Providing the necessary details so that students understand the concepts takes time and patience and unfortunately, in an online environment, the time allocations are usually less than in traditional training situations.
Plus, it’s no secret that many theory components are often classed as 'dry and boring'. Understandably, many students just want to skip the boring bits and get straight to the 'good stuff'. It can be an added challenge when you're teaching online!
