Thank you!
Thanks for registering for a Skills Education PD or information session. In terms of accessing any post-session content, this page gives you a reminder on the information shared at time of original registration.
Looking ahead, you might like to check out what's next in the calendar of live events, or browse the PD Library for sessions ready to watch now.
Next steps according to event type
Depending on the type of event your registration was for, here is the information on next steps:
If you attended a:
-
Webinar
Where tickets must be purchased for entry (automatic registration if you’re an Education Matters Elite subscriber):
- Sign in to your dashboard
- Under the course tile for the PD, you’ll find all relevant information about the event, including:
- Where applicable, any supporting materials and/or recordings
- How to trigger your Record of Participation
-
Natters on Education Matters event
(Automatic inclusion for Education Matters subscribers and occasionally offered as a fee-for-registration live event for guests):
-
Sign in to your dashboard
- Under the course tile for this event, you’ll find more on how to trigger your Record of Participation
- Note that recordings from 'Natters' are only available for Education Matters subscribers and this was advertised as such at time of registration. If you are a session guest, you will be asked to trigger your certificate on the day of the session before your window of access expires
-
Trainer Chat live event
With no fee for registrants
- Note complimentary registration is offered for the live event. Registration to free events expires after the session and the course will disappear from dashboards unless the registrant is also an Education Matters membership subscriber
- If you registered but did not attend live, your registration has now lapsed, the course tile removed from your profile and you will not be able to trigger a certificate (because you will not have undertaken the PD)
- If you attended the live event: You will have been asked to trigger your certificate on the day, during your window of access. This will have also been communicated at time of registration with information on how to trigger your Record of Participation sitting under the course tile. Certificates can only be triggered if you attended the free event live or access the recording as an Education Matters subscriber or via paid registration
- Recordings (and if applicable, handouts) are only available for Education Matters members or by later, paid registration and this was advertised as such at time of registration. If this is you, sign in to your dashboard
-
Complimentary session type 1
Such as a no-cost-to-register webinar session- The same conditions apply as for Trainer Chats (see above)
-
Complimentary session type 2
Such as a Training and Education Matters (TAE) Trivia event or a sector information session (like updates from DEWR)
- All information about these events are on the event page where it was advertised at time of registration no Record of Participation applies to the event
- If a recording has been made available, this will be on the event page for you to view, so navigate back to that space
Access to post-session materials
Remember, your access to any post-event materials is time-limited (according to the event or any subscription periods) so ensure you watch replays and/or download resources within that period. A "copy of the slides" will not always be available - we respect the presenter's prerogative to deal with (and share) their IP how they see fit
Getting your 'certificate'
In cases where a 'certificate' can be triggered, the following may be useful for registered attendees:
- Access these materials by signing in to your account
- Navigate to your dashboard (not the 'My Account' section) and click on the course tile
- Click through the session content to retrieve any handouts and access the feedback survey and,
- When your course registers as 100% completed, your certificate will appear for download
Certificates can only be triggered by registered participants so if you want a certificate for compliance purposes, ensure you complete the steps listed above. The instructions are also within your dashboard
More information about certificates is on our Ts and Cs page.
