Trainer Chats

Skills Education Trainer Chats give an opportunity for community-based sharing of VET knowledge and experience for trainers by trainers

The live sessions are offered as complimentary registration.

Recordings are only available to Education Matters subscribers or via later, paid registration

Registrants who attend live will be able to trigger on the day, a Record of Participation for Trainer Chats

If you register but do not attend live, and you are not an Education Matters subscriber, you will not be able to trigger a certificate

Trainer Chats are on Fridays at 1pm AEST (Qld time) and you can expect them to go for about 30mins plus up to 15mins for audience Q&A

Trainer Chat guest presenters have volunteered their time for the live event and to contribute to the trainer/assessor community. They may not be professional speakers but will have current insights and experiences to share

Vanessa Solomon is the Co-Director of Infinite Education and Training, a consultancy with over a decade working with RTOs on various management and compliance functions, including specialist Adult Language Literacy and Numeracy strategies.  

Vanessa specialises as an Adult Language Literacy and Numeracy Practitioner and has had the pleasure of working with a diverse range of learners throughout her extensive career. 

With more than 15 years of experience in the Vocational Education and Training sector, Vanessa currently holds the position of Acting General Manager at OPEC College RTO41595, in addition to consulting with RTOs on the side. She is particularly passionate about her role as an LLN Practitioner, focusing on at-risk populations and adults with learning differences. 

Vanessa is also dedicated to mentoring, coaching, and providing professional supervision for new trainers and assessors, leveraging her extensive expertise to foster growth and development in the field.
