Developing meaningful course evaluation methods
20.11.24 10am AEST | Presented by Mick Gwyther
In this webinar we unpack the art of evaluating VET courses.
We'll explore learning transfer and evaluation concepts to assess your course's learning and its application to job roles before, during, and after delivery.
We'll also look at how to apply Kirkpatrick's Four Levels of Evaluation for good information to enable continuous feedback that can improve performance for teachers and learners.
At the end of this session, you will be able to:
Clarify how your VET course aligns with specific job roles and industry requirements
Apply three of Kirkpatrick's Four Levels of Evaluation to measure the 'effectiveness' of training
Adjust formative assessment techniques during course delivery to monitor learner progress and adjust teaching strategies
Use evaluation methods after course completion to assess learner perceptions of their own learning experience and their readiness for job tasks
Incorporate feedback from all stakeholders to continuously improve the VET course content and delivery
