Collecting Meaningful Evidence
Recorded Thursday 5 August 2021
It’s all about the evidence
‘Evidence’ is what protects our assessment decisions. However, what constitutes ‘meaningful evidence’?
This session looks at the purpose of evidence within an assessment system and provides advice on how to focus on the best fit for both the training package requirements and the learners. This will include looking at AQF Level indicators to ensure that the evidence collected is at an appropriate level and will support attendees in determining how best to collect evidence that is relevant, meaningful, and easy to link back to unit requirements.
In this webinar, Marc Ratcliffe will:
Explain the role of evidence in assessment
Identify challenges faced when collecting evidence
Describe characteristics of meaningful evidence
Understand relationship between AQF descriptors and evidence collection
Explain how to apply a formula for success
