About Vicki

Since 1990, Dr Vicki Roberts has been involved in Vocational Education and Training (VET) Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). From 1992 until 2000, Vicki owned and operated an Australian RTO (United Business Services College) which provided government-funded courses to long-term unemployed. After 2000, Vicki provided VET consulting services in Australia and internationally.

Vicki is a fellow of Australian Institute of Training and Development (AITD) and has been a member since 1995. She has been an active AITD Council member and was the QLD/NT President from 1995 - 2000. In 2000, Vicki was appointed the AITD National Vice President.

As of 2009, Vicki has provided technical assistance and support in development-funded programs focused on capacity development, TVET and quality education outcomes for ADB, DFAT, EU, GIZ, World Bank and USAID donor clients. 

Acting as an independent TVET and capacity building expert, Vicki has worked in Afghanistan, Australia, Canada, China, Egypt, Kiribati, Kuwait, Mauritius, Nepal, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Timor-Leste and USA.

As a life-long learner, Vicki continues to seek opportunities to expand her knowledge and experience by assisting others achieve their personal and professional goals. The IVETA Mentoring program has provided another door that scaffolds her passion.
