Yes, there are concerns about cheating, the reduction of higher-order thinking, and the dilution of human-generated creativity, but there are also opportunities to embrace diversity and bring tailored support to the learning environment.
Underscoring the importance of building learner capacity is the need to facilitate true learning and encourage learners to embrace the benefits of this for themselves.
Simultaneously, educators must also know how to facilitate learning in such a way as to mitigate any opportunity for academic misconduct, thereby ensuring a genuine outcome for learners.
