We're excited to welcome guest speaker Anissa Jones who will help us understand cultural safety and working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
In turn, this will help us understand how to demonstrate meeting requirements under Outcome Standard 2.5.2b.
The session is scheduled to run for up to approximately 60 minutes with audience Q&A.
Presenter:
Anissa Jones is a proud Burubirangal Warmuli Dharug Woman from Richmond and Prospect mobs.
She has over 20 years of teaching experience in P-12, Vocational and Tertiary Education systems. Her passion is for Aboriginal Education and making it a better space to learn through teacher education and curriculum design and development.
Anissa is a PhD Candidate - Aboriginal Policy & Perspectives in VET.
