How to create the mandatory 5-Year Validation Plan for your RTO
Run through the 7-step process to creating a risk-based validation plan according to the requirements of the Outcome Standards
This session will review the definition of validation per the new Outcome Standards and outline changes to note from Standards for RTOs 2015 requirements, to the current legislative instrument.
It will examine:
The seven steps to take to create your validation plan
Incorporating requirements contained in the Outcome Standards

Issues such as:
Determining risk
Timing of validation activities across the five year cycle
Selecting training products that will be validated
Documenting required personnel and action outcomes
Each registrant will receive a copy of a:
- Risk Analysis checklist which can help to determine relative risks of all training products on scope of registration
- Preliminary analysis working sheet - to list training products and their identified risk ratings
- Steps framework summary - a synopsis of the steps to creating a validation plan
