These live events are an automatic inclusion for membership subscribers.
Day: Friday 14 November 2025
Time: 1pm AEST (Qld time)
Topic: Global Perspectives on Modularisation: System Design, Micro-Credentials, and Lifelong Learning
This session exposes movement in the broader vocational education market and showcases appetite for how learning programs are structured in other countries. It's worth being aware of these things as Australian industry and government looks for ways to rapidly ease skills shortages.
This presentation will explore global approaches to micro-credential development and implementation, examining how countries are redesigning their education systems to embrace modularisation and lifelong learning. Drawing on international research, Stuart will analyse system-level transformations, highlight best practices from various contexts, and identify opportunities for developing strategies that serve learners, industries, and national policy objectives.
To stay relevant and future-focused, RTOs and trainers need to understand the evolving needs of industry, learners, and the communities we serve.
Come along to this session to keep up-to-date with changes and advancements!
The session is scheduled to run for approximately 30 minutes with 15 minutes audience Q&A
As a Community Matters discussion, this is a special event for Education Matters and RPL Matters members and the live session is open to members from both communities. While the event will be recorded, to see the recording you must be an Education Matters or RPL Matters membership subscriber.
