Education Matters
Australia’s VET sector operates within a regulated environment, meaning laws, legislative instruments, regulations and other standards and guidelines must be followed.
The requirements are applicable to all providers operating within VET and meeting requirements is part of being compliant with the law.
This also means that there are bodies and organisations that act as regulators and fulfill the function of checking and monitoring the compliance levels of people and operations within VET.
There are two main frameworks that underpin Australia’s VET sector:
