Get help from Copilot on how to adopt UDL for student support

Creating inclusive learning environments is not only ethically important, it enables positive experiences for learners and educators. The Universal Design for Learning (UDL) aims to optimise learner success by removing barriers.

This session will showcase how Copilot can be an educator’s digital assistant to apply these UDL principles to make assessment tasks more learner friendly.

Participants will consider how they can adopt UDL principles within their assessment practices while still ensuring that their assessment tasks are compliant.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to

  • Explain how Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles can improve assessment practices
  • Use Copilot to identify how UDL principles can be adopted to create more inclusive assessment experiences for their learners
  • Share how to contextualise assessment processes and adapt assessment tasks to support formative assessment activities
