Introduction to the new Training Package Organising Framework
And an overview of the new Applied Skills & Knowledge (ASK) template JSCs can choose to use
This PD will take you through some of the "behind-the-scenes" work to produce what we see on the national register of VET (training.gov.au or "TGA").
Uncover the facts about the Training Package Organising Framework (TPOF) and some of the changes we can expect to see as new training products roll out from the Jobs and Skills Councils (JSCs). Other information:
***15.6.26 - The first approved ASK units have appeared on TGA as part of UEE22226 Certificate II in Gateway to the Energy Sector***
This recording was made four months prior to the release of the first units on the ASK template. While information about the TPOF is confirmed knowledge, the information in the recording about how to interpret ASK units is yet to be confirmed by an authoritative source such as DEWR or any of the JSCs.
Further, with work from only 1 x JSC to be published on TGA, we are yet to know if future ASK units from other JSCs will be the same.
Please take this into consideration while completing this PD.
