This is an action learning course where you will immediately apply what you learn
Do you need to create an online course where learners can access their training at any time and from any location? Our Discovery program will equip you to do just that.
This Discovery Program is not just a series of webinars, it is a holistic program of three webinar sessions, plus online and individual activities between webinars.
This program will step you through the ADDIE learning design journey of analysing, designing, developing, implementing and evaluating as you create your online course over:
Three live 90 minute online sessions,
Individual post session activities and,
Targeted facilitator feedback.
Upon successful completion of this Discovery Program, you will have created the structure and the key features of your online course, ready to finalise and then use with your learner group.
While creating your online course is best done through a learning management system (LMS), you will also learn about other options and you will not be required to have access to an LMS.
This course is ideally designed for:
Trainers or course creators looking to create or improve their online courses
Anyone looking to gain employment as an instructional designer (or educational/learning designer)
RTOs looking to upskill their staff in online course design processes
Please note: A member of staff can attend this program and be trained on how to design and develop an online course for the same price (or less!) than what it would cost for just the design phase to be produced by a contracted Instructional/Learning Design consultant
This program will:
Walk you through how to build your online course by embedding instructional design processes using applied/action-based learning
Step you through planning templates and support resources, and
Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring throughout the program
Your learning experiences include:
Participating in group and individual activities which build your learning design skills
Reflecting on feedback and coaching from our highly experienced Discovery Program facilitators, and
Sharing your work and learnings with other participants through our ‘community of learners’ approach
